Fortress of Truth

        Michael R. Torres is the current pastor of Fortress of Truth in Visalia, California.  He served as the intern from October 2009 until he was elected in May 2010  He served as Senior Associate Pastor for twenty-one years under Pastor Randy G. Keyes at Revival Center in Modesto, California. He also assisted Pastor Clifford Clark in Madera and Bellflower, California a total of nine years, prior to Modesto. Michael has been a licensed minister for the UPC since 1978. His passion has always been church growth and seeing people develop to their full potential.  He has firm conviction that California is ripe for revival, and if we labor together in one mind and one accord there is no reason for us not to reach all peoples.

        Michael holds an Associate of Arts degree with honors from Modesto Junior College and has completed many classes from Liberty University and Stanislaus State University. He has traveled in approximately twenty-five nations, participating in Missions work in many of these countries.  He is enjoying the challenge of experiencing growth and revival in Visalia.  He currently is the Multi-Cultural Director on the Western District Home Missions Board and wishes to continue to work in this capacity during these productive years of his life.
